Hello:
I’d like to introduce myself and my business. My name is Hollis Curtis and
my business is Stone Age Masonry, Inc. We are a family owned business here
in Maine. We specialize in stone building restoration which includes
concrete replication as well as restoring the stone building itself. I
have been working in the masonry restoration business for over twenty
years. My sons and my wife also work for the business.
The first thirteen years I worked in masonry restoration, I restored
commercial and residential buildings. Then, I spent eight years working
for the Roman Catholic Diocese (Dicon). I helped to restore St. Peter and
Paul in Lewiston, St. Hyacinth in Westbrook, St. Augustine in Augusta, St.
Joe in Gardiner and Sacred Heart in Waterville.
Now, our company is presently restoring the Franco American Heritage
Center (formerly St. Mary’s church) in Lewiston. We have pictures showing
how we have restored different sections of the building that were falling
completely apart. In addition, we own and operate our own form shop. Here
is where we replicate concrete statues, medallions, window casings,
doorway arches, dental work and other concrete pieces, which we also have
pictures of, available at your request. Other then the many years of
experience, the knowledge and ability to replicate these fine concrete
forms, is one of the biggest reasons we stand out above any other stone
mason restoration company in New England.
The demand for experienced stone restoration masons in Maine is high and
to find one that has the ability to do the job right, is next to
impossible. So, if you are planning to have restoration work done, I would
appreciate having the chance to bid on the job. Please call me at the
number above or fax us at
(207)353-2563
Thank you very much,
Hollis Curtis
